The Daniel Arthur Trio represents a new generation of creative music which adventurously explores all contemporary genres in a jazz setting. After the members met at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University in October of 2014, the group has been performing locally in Montreal since March, with shows noted for their bristling energy and bold creativity. The group has been recently invited to perform at the 37th edition of the renowned Montreal International Jazz Festival in July 2016. The music, entirely composed by pianist Daniel Arthur, demonstrates a diverse range of musical influences, including 20th century classical music, pop, and contemporary jazz. This results in a thrilling musical hybrid sure to intrigue and entertain a wide range of audiences.
